Since 2018, The Recovery Zone has provided healthy, convenient options for LA Fitness guests and members. Originating here in our Van Nuys LA Fitness location, we’ve been a go-to stop for everything from your favorite canned energy drinks to a wide variety of low-sugar, high protein snacks, as well as fresh fruit–blended protein shakes and smoothies. Meet the Team
Our LA Fitness Van Nuys team is the heart of Recovery Zone. Each team member runs their shift independently, keeping things moving smoothly while always greeting guests with a smile. Their consistency, friendliness, and work ethic are what make the experience special. Whether you’re stopping by before a workout or refueling after, you can count on being taken care of. All tips are given directly to the barista on duty, thank you for your support!

FAQs
Do we provide cups/utensils to guests? As a small business, we carefully manage our supply costs. For that reason, cups and utensils are available with purchase. We appreciate your understanding and your support of Recovery Zone.
Do we add sugar to our drinks? No. We don’t add any refined sugar to our shakes or smoothies. The only sugar we carry is in optional packets for tea. Any sweetness in our drinks comes naturally from fruit, which contains naturally occurring sugars along with fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. That means you’re getting real, whole-food ingredients — not added syrups or fillers.
Why do you charge for filtered water? Recovery Zone is a small, independently owned business, and we pay for the equipment, maintenance, and supplies needed to provide filtered water. Because of this, complimentary filtered water is available to customers who make a same-day purchase at Recovery Zone. Please note that Recovery Zone is not affiliated with or operated by LA Fitness. LA Fitness provides water fountains for its members, and Recovery Zone is not responsible for the availability, maintenance, or operation of those fountains. We appreciate your understanding and your support of our small business!
Do I need a membership to order? Nope! Non-members are typically welcome to stop by and order. Please let the front desk know you’re visiting the juice bar upon entry. Kindly note that access is subject to facility policies, and unauthorized entry is not permitted.
What else do you have besides shakes? We offer protein bars, energy drinks, and other convenient, fitness focused snacks, taking pride in products only we trust. We even serve a gym-famous acai bowl topped with granola, peanut butter, coconut shreds and fresh banana drizzled with honey- YUM!
